Jen is the owner & President of Christopher Street Financial and has accumulated more than twenty years of Wall Street experience.
She began her investment career at the venerable powerhouses of
JP Morgan and then Bear Stearns. While at these firms she specialized
in two areas: high yield bonds and the equity markets for institutional
investors. Jen has remarked I find working with individuals
and their finances to be far more rewarding than working with portfolio
managers on the institutional side of Wall Street. Every individual
who walks through our door has their own unique financial situation
and their own emotional issues about wealth. Addressing these needs
within a framework of sound financial planning is what really motivates
me.
In addition to developing creative solutions to the financial dilemmas
of same-sex couples, Jen invests in real estate. She and her life
partner, Susanne Smith, invest in rental properties in the NY metro
area. They love the design challenges of renovating historical buildings.
Jen and Sue share a home in Nyack, NY - a small, diverse community
on the Hudson, north of Manhattan.
Jen has a B.A. with Honors in Political Science from the State
University of New York at Purchase where she graduated first in
her class. Jen is a trustee of the Point Foundation. |

'It boils down to marriage rights,' says Jennifer Hatch, president of Christopher Street Financial, one of the oldest financial advisories for gays and lesbians, based in New York." ...
